Such you improve your greenland cheaply and effectively.
Waterlogging and drought have struck many stocks last year. After the
winter, they are now beginning the season too weak. Improving grassland
is imperative.
Last year, completely overmoisted soils changed almost everywhere with
drought. As a result, many farms had problems with basic feed supply.
Grassland was withered and the stocks were and still are a picture of
jamming to this day.
A subsequent sowing without adequate rain often fails or is at least
risky because the seeds use the short-term water for germination, but
the seedlings dry out very quickly in the absence of further rain. It
is often not possible to rely on a rapid increase in yields due to targeted
nitrogen (N) fertilization. For at least the grassland of Southern Germany
often shows high proportions of herbs and weeds, which, unlike grasses,
react to the fertilization only to a limited extent.
Seeding only succeeds if the seed has contact with the soil.
Subsequent rolling helps to get as many seeds as possible through the turf
to the ground.
If the old grass turf is very dense, the Harroflex harrow should be used
to remove the old stock (also the common panicle). The harrow opens the grass.
The old stocks should be carried away.
The sowing is then done with a GreenMaster or GreenSeeder device from Güttler.
Tests carried out at the Agricultural Center of Baden-Württemberg (study director
Mr. Dr. Elsässer) have shown that using the GreenMaster system from Güttler,
grassland maintenance/re-seeding can be made just as effective as the expensive
slot-drier seeding process.
The Güttler GreenMaster system can be used not only in grassland but even in
agriculture: sowing of fine seams/flowering blends, etc.
The roller can be used for the application of up-frozen seeds and for stimulation
of tillering. The roller can also be used as a front packer.
